We are Neo SPCC – St. Petersburg-based startup company formed on 27th of July 2018. Our core project is a distributed decentralized object storage NeoFS integrated with Neo blockchain, it implements client-side encryption and allows users to transfer and share data without reliance on a third-party storage provider. Our current local goal is to release beta-version of NeoFS in February 2020. We are systematically moving towards our global goal – truly decentralized cloud platform. The platform is designed to be used by both individuals and enterprises. It is being developed in Go and will be fully open source.
We are looking for an experienced back-end SW developer to join the development of the blockchain layer for the cloud platform. The blockchain layer is an essential part of the platform which will perform nodes synchronization and become a single point of truth.
We have our own open source implementation of the Neo blockchain node in Go which is gonna be the basis of the enterprise blockchain layer for the platform.
Skills & requirements:
Knowledge of Go or C/C++/C# with desire to learn Go
Understanding of network protocols
Experience working with distributed/decentralized networks is a big plus
2+ years of experience as a back-end developer
Good level of technical English
Scientific degree in Computer Science

Records of commitment to open source
Research experience in academic environment
Responsibilities:
Maintaining and evolving Neo node implementation
Implementing Neo 3.0 blockchain protocol
Implementing and optimizing Neo 3.0 VM
Designing and implementing corporate features for Neo blockchain
Working with global Neo community on new features
